Create a Special Needs Music Curriculum
Liquid Listening Music Specialist Lawrence Bradshaw is now working with a number of our partner special schools, including Shenstone School in Kent and Springside School in Rochdale, to devise a bespoke year-round music curriculum for them. Each curriculum is specifically tailored to complement the school's Musical Hydrotherapy programme and is designed to provide an exciting, inclusive and accessible learning journey for young people with special needs.
Each lesson is structured to combine both active and passive participation, ensuring that students can take part in ways that suit their individual needs and abilities.
The programme has been created so that it can be delivered confidently by teachers without requiring a specialist music background, making it easy to implement across the school. Lessons are intended to be fun, interactive and educational, with opportunities to explore creativity, build confidence and connect with music in meaningful ways.
Every session will close with a period of relaxation and focused listening, inspired by the principles of Liquid Listening, to support wellbeing and provide a calming conclusion to each learning experience.

“It's been a fantastic start to the week! Lawrence was absolutely amazing! All our learners loved his sessions, they engaged with the instruments appropriately and found their voice with the microphone this afternoon. We need him to come back !! 🤩”

“Penguins [Class] loved their Monday morning music session! Such lovely engagement from learners who may sometimes shy away. Thank you again.”
